Pools

The Mason Creek Community Center features three pools including a large swimming pool, a diving pool and small wade pool for small children. Significant investments have been made in recent years to ensure that the pools are in the best condition possible for the enjoyment of Mason Creek residents. The large pool is equipped with lane markers. These lane markers are used in part by our very active local youth swim team. The dive well features a brand new aluminum diving board that is one of the best designs available for public use. The wade pool is equipped with an interactive water feature that provides a large waterfall when a wheel is turned.

We will provide a 15 ft. x 12 ft. inflatable screen, 2 outdoor speakers, 2 hours of entertainment and most importantly, 2 lifeguards for the event. Movie Night will begin at 8 pm once the pool closes and will last approximately 2 hours, or whenever the movie ends. Which ever occurs first. Please keep in mind that this is for Pool Members only and a Family event. Movies rated G and PG are only permitted. And lastly, DON'T FORGET TO BRING YOUR FLOATS!

Health Statement about our Pools

The water chemistry, chlorine and pH levels of each pool is tested before pool opening each day and hourly throughout the day at Mason Creek. Chlorine is a rapid and persistent sanitizer and a strong oxidizer of undesired contaminants. The Texas Department of Health and the Association of Pool and Spa Professionals require a minimum 1.0ppm (part per million) of free available chlorine to sanitize the pool and kill harmful microorganisms that can cause health-related problems. The recommended levels are 2.0ppm to 4.00ppm and the Mason Creek pools are consistently maintained in this range to ensure only the safest environment for all swimmers.

Rules and Schedule of Fees

Rules and fees for use of the community pools are provided in appendix H of the district's current rate order.
